Description of Project:
The Port Botany project involved the construction of three Automated Stacking Crane (ASC) Terminal bays as part of the multi‐million dollar developments for the new Terminal 3 at Port Botany.
Scope of Works:
The key features of the works included:
- ASC beams, rail beams & rails
- Reefer access gantires
- Connection into existing facilities
- Traffic signage and road markings
- Container walkways
- Automatic Stacking Cranes (ASC) rails, fixings, stow pins and buffer stops
- Site wide electrical conduits and pits for HV/LV and communications cabling distribution
- Heavy duty rigid and flexible port pavements
- High mast and bollards lighting including foundations
- Lane identification gates and entrance / exit area gates
- Fencing and all associated services and drainage
